My daughter is presently 12 yrs old and my ex husbands mother and her husband of 9 yrs have custody of my daughter. I have two children with my ex husband, the Virginia courts gave me custody of my son, now 10 and gave custody of my daughter to my ex’s parents. My ex husband has 10 to life in Prison. I get no child support, nor pay any. They rarely let me talk to her and I hardly get to see her. I want her back and I don’t know what to do. There is much more to this, but I don’t drink, smoke, or use drugs, I am a two job holding, mother of 3 now. My daughter 12 (whom I am speaking of), my son age 10 her full brother, and I have a two yr old with my current Fiance’. Can she choose to live here? How do we go about it? I know in my heart she wants to be with us.
