Funny. Rich Rodriguez is recruiting tons of players who are exactly like Desmond Howard (Martavious Odoms, Michael Shaw, Terrance Robinson, Jeremy Gallon, Teric Jones, Vincent Smith, Fitzgerald Toussaint, Justin Feagin). You can expect one of those guys to eventually have a season like Howard had in 1991. Speed kills. It’s about damn time Michigan realized that.

yeah good point a program that every year is in the top 25 always top 10 in recruiting most wins all time best winning % is horrible. have fun while the buckeyes seasons of getting to a bcs game them loseing lasts pretty soon michigan will be completley dominateing once again

conneagle3, your an idiot, the tradition is michigan football. if it looks a little different fine as long as they win, michigan football will always be the most prestiges program

the first half of your post is false and the second is a bunch of misspelled words in the wrong order. I didnt realize last season that a team who didnt play in a bowl game ended top 25. thats crazy. Get an education you fucking dumb bitch, cuz you need to learn how to spell and form somewhat of a sentence. you suck at hockey kris-you fag.
I concur. I was but 2 years old when this play took place. DAMN I wish I was old enough to see it and enjoy it! I’ve only been able to enjoy Michigan football post 2000. ):

I was almost in HS when this happened, I did have a subscription to SI at the time and his pose was on the cover (wish i still had it). Those 90’s were a real good time for Wolverine fans, much like the team south of us is expierencing right now! I feel sorry for the fans who haven’t had the chance to see us dominating the B10 like we did those years, but I promise you, we’ll be back before too long!

Oh yes, Michigan will return to dominating the Big Ten like we did in the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s. I’m soooo looking forward to it! Suckeyes and Fartan and Notre Shame fans don’t believe it, but the fact is, RichRod will turn Michigan into a Big Ten dynasty and possibly the NO.1 program in the nation. Remember his 2005-2007 Mountaineers teams? Think of those teams on steroids and that’s what the Wolverines will be in the future under Rodriguez.
LOL, well lets hope the “roids” aren’t involved…j/k!
I know what your saying, RR won at WVU without the national branding UM has, so he can look beyond the surrounding states for talent, there are talented ballers all over this country who grew up loving that winged helmet and RR knows this. The Big Blue will be back, the “real” fans just need to hang in there and give RR some time. He’s already doing a great job at recruiting….happy days are on the way!
